本校於當學年度核定招生總名額內，有本國學生未招足情形者，得以外國學生名額補足。
JUST may admit international students to take up places at the above available to local students within the approved admission quota for the academic year which remain vacant.

入學申請 Application Instructions

一、申請資格 Qualification

(一)   具外國國籍【不含港澳及大陸地區人士】且未曾具有中華民國國籍，於申請時並不具僑生資格者。
Those who have foreign nationality (excluding the citizens of Hong Kong, Macau, or the People's Republic of China), as well as those who have not previously studied in Taiwan as an overseas Chinese student when applying are eligible to apply as international students.

(二)   擁有外國國籍及中華民國國籍，且符合下列規定，於申請時已連續居留海外六年以上者：
International students refer to individuals whose nationality is not the Republic of China, individuals who have resided in another country for more than 6 years (Refer to Note 2-3), and individuals who meet the following conditions.

1.申請時兼具中華民國國籍，應自始未曾在臺設有戶籍。
Have dual nationality and have never applied for household registration in Taiwan.

2.申請前曾兼具中華民國國籍，於申請時已不具中華民國籍者，應自內政部許可喪失中華民國國籍之日起至申請時已滿八年。
Once held Republic of China citizenship, but who have renounced it for fewer than 8 years (as of the date school begins).

＊前2項未曾以僑生身分在臺就學，且未於當學年度接受海外聯合招生委員會分發。

Possess overseas Compatriot student status or had previously applied to colleges / universities with this status in Taiwan.

(三)      具外國國籍並兼具中華民國國籍，且於教育部外國學生來臺就學辦法中華民國一百年二月一日修正施行前已提出申請喪失中華民國國籍者，得依原規定申請入學，不受第(二)項規定之限制。
An individual, who has foreign nationality and had applied for an annulment of the R.O.C. nationality prior to February 1^st, 2011 (the effective date of this amendment of Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan issued by the Ministry) for at least 8 years since the date, on which a revocation was issued form the Ministry of the Interior, up to August 1^st, 2026, will then be qualified to apply for admission as an international student under the amendment effective before Feb.1st, 2011 and will not be subject to the limitation of the preceding clause.

(四)      具有國籍法第二條規定情形者，為本規定所定具有中華民國國籍。
An individual who falls under the circumstances prescribed in Article 2 of the Nationality Act shall, for the purposes of these Regulations, be deemed to possess the nationality of the R.O.C..

(五)外國學生依(一)、(二)點規定申請來臺就學，以一次為限；其繼續在臺就學者，入學方式應與我國內一般學生相同。
International students applying to undertake studies in Taiwan pursuant to Subparagraphs (1) and (2) may do so only once. If they wish to continue their studies in Taiwan thereafter, their mode of admission shall be the same as that applicable to domestic students.外國學生有下列情形之一者，其於前項申請後，復申請繼續在臺就學，或再次申請來臺就學，不受前項規定之限制：
Notwithstanding the foregoing, international students who fall under any of the following circumstances may, after submitting an application under the preceding paragraph, apply again to continue their studies in Taiwan or reapply to undertake studies in Taiwan, without being subject to the aforesaid limitation:
1.於完成申請就學學校學程後，申請碩士班以上學程，逕依本校規定辦理。
Upon completion of the program at the admitting institution, an international student who applies for a master’s program or a higher-level program shall proceed in accordance with the institution’s regulations.
2.外國學生申請來臺就讀學士班以下學程，在國內停留未滿一年，因故退學或喪失學籍，得重新申請來臺就學，並以一次為限。
An international student who applies to study in Taiwan at the bachelor’s degree level or below, stays in Taiwan for less than one year, and withdraws or loses student status for justified reasons, may reapply to undertake studies in Taiwan, limited to one time.
3.符合第二點第一項規定之外國學生，申請入學大學醫學、牙醫或中醫學系以外之學士班學程，並以一次為限。
An international student who meets the requirements set forth in Item (2), Paragraph 1, and applies for admission to a bachelor’s degree program other than medicine, dentistry, or traditional Chinese medicine, may do so only once.
外國學生經入學學校以操行不及格或學業成績考核未達規定、違反法令或校規情節嚴重致遭退學喪失學籍者，不得再依前二項規定申請入學。
An international student who is dismissed or loses student status by the admitting institution due to unsatisfactory conduct or academic performance, or for serious violations of laws or institutional regulations, shall not be eligible to apply for admission again under the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs.

(六)      如違反規定並經查證屬實者，撤銷其所獲准入學資格或開除學籍。
Violation of any of the above criteria will result in immediate cancellation of the applicant's admission or the deprivation of the applicant's recognized status as an NUTN registered student.

(七)   外國學生具高中畢業資格者，得申請入學本校學士學位班。
International students with high school diplomas are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs at JUST.

二、申請文件 Required Documents for Application

(一)   二吋半身脫帽照片

(二)   切結書一份。
Deposition form.

(三)   國籍證明文件影本一份。
Verification of nationality.

(四)   經我國駐外館處驗證或僑務委員會指定之保薦單位驗證之外國學校最高學歷或同等學力證明文件及歷年成績單影本各一份（中、英文以外之語文，應附中文譯本），或由原修業學校密封逕寄本校。
One copy of the applicant’s highest academic degree diploma or the proof of equivalent level and official transcript for all semesters, verified with official stamps by R.O.C, or the sponsors authenticated by Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C, embassies, consulates, or missions abroad or by other notary institutes authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R.O.C (hereinafter, “R.O.C. representative offices abroad”). Diplomas should be mailed to JUST directly from the issuing institution.
(If the original diploma or transcript is not in Chinese or English, a notarized copy of a translation in Chinese is necessary).

(五)  本校之教學以中文為主，申請時須提交語言能力證明如下：
   Instruction at the University is conducted primarily in Chinese; therefore, applicants are
   required to submit proof of language proficiency as follows:
   1.華語文能力測驗（TOCFL）A2 級（基礎級）以上能力證明或相當等級之國際通用
     中文能力證明。
     Proof of Chinese language proficiency at Level A2 (Basic Level) or above of the Test of
     Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL), or an internationally recognized Chinese
     language proficiency certificate of an equivalent level.
   2.主修語文或前一學校為中文授課之申請者，需繳交相關證明。
     Applicants whose major is a Chinese language–related field, or whose previous
     institution provided instruction in Chinese, are required to submit relevant supporting
     documentation.

(六)   推薦書一份（一份中國語文教師推薦信，或能敘明申請者中、英文能力之推薦信）
Two letters of recommendation (one of which should be from a teacher of Chinese language, or one who can prove the applicant’s Chinese or English language proficiency).

(七)   中文及英文留學計畫書 Study plan in Chinese and English. 

(八)   財力證明 USD3,000元或 NTD90,000元以上或獲獎學金證明副本(不含印尼籍學生)

*註：依據外交部109年1月8日外授領二字第1085332256號函辦理，我駐印尼代表處及駐泗水辦事處要求申請來臺就學簽證者，財力證明標準(1、應有至少6個月之經常性財力5,000美金以上。財力來源可為家長或其他親屬。倘為其他親屬，則以所持戶籍謄本上所列，並能證明親屬關係者為原則；2、公費生或獎學金生應附可供採認之獎學金證明)

Financial Statement of Official Bank Statement with a minimum balance of USD3,000 or NTD90,000 per person or a copy of scholarship award notification (Excluding students of Indonesian nationality).

五、報到及註冊 Registration and Enrollment

錄取之新生，應依錄取通知單之規定辦理報到手續，並應繳驗以下證件：
All accepted students should register with the school by the designated time and follow the regulations in the admission letter and provide the following documents:

(一)護照

(二)畢業證書及成績單

Diploma and Transcripts

※取得入學許可後，於辦理報到時，須繳交台灣駐外館處或經僑務委員會指定之保薦單位驗證之畢業證書及成績單(認證章正本)各一份（驗畢退還），始得註冊入學。
Applicants who have received acceptance letters should submit copies of their diploma and transcripts (with official stamp/seal) verified by the Taiwan Overseas Missions in the country of their original school or the sponsors authenticated by Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C. After doing so, an applicant is ready for enrollment.

除學雜費外，額外收費明細如下：

In addition to tuition fee, other fees are as follows.

1.     學生平安保險費一學期約600元

Student safety insurance fee is about NTD 600 per semester.

2. 為維護國際學生健康，自入學註冊時均應參加六個月的傷病醫療保險約3,000元。領有有效居留證件之國際學生，於來臺連續居留滿6個月且期間只出境1次未逾30日，依法參加全民健保。（如有變動，須依相關規定辦理）。

All international students should purchase six months of injury medical insurance in about NTD 3,000 at the time of enrollment in the first semester. Those with a valid alien resident certificate (ARC) and stay in Taiwan for 6 months continuously or only leave Taiwan for less than 30 days within 6 months, can participate in the National Health Insurance (NHI) according to the law. Any change is subject to the applicable laws and regulations.

3. 除了學雜費及住宿費用外，生活費每個月約10,000元〜12,000元；書籍費依照所修習的課程而有不同。

In addition to tuition and accommodation fees, living expenses are about NTD10,000-12,000 each month and book fees vary based on the courses taken.

4. 新生體檢費約700，為基本檢查費，若需其他檢查項目，則依受檢醫院規定辦理。

Freshman Physical Examination Fee about NTD 700, the fee is only for the basic physical examination. To check other items, extra fees will be charged by the hospital.

5. 健康保險費約4,956，為一個學期6個月計算，依實際支付金額為準。

Health Insurance Fees about NTD 4,956, calculated for one semester (6 months), the actual payment amount may vary.

七、評分方式及錄取原則 Scores Calculation

八、退費標準與辦理時程 Tuition Fee Refund Policy

(一)依學生休、退學時間而訂有學雜費退費比例，如下：

(二)註冊日（包括當日）前申請者：免繳費。已收費者，全額退費。

Applicants who apply on or before the registration day (including the registration day) are exempt from tuition fee payment. Whereas if fees have already been collected, a full amount of the fee collected will be refunded.

(三)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後而未逾學期三分之一申請者：學費、雜費退還三分之二。

Applicants who apply after the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester) but before one-third of the semester has elapsed: Two-thirds of the tuition and miscellaneous fees will be refunded.

(四)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後逾學期三分之一，而未逾學期三分之二申請者：學費、雜費退還三分之一。

Applicants who apply between the period of one-third of the semester and two-thirds of the semester since the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester): One-third of the tuition and miscellaneous fees will be refunded.

(五)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後逾學期三分之二申請者：所繳學費、雜費，不予退還。

Applicants who apply after two-thirds of the semester has passed since the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester): Tuition and miscellaneous fees paid will not be refunded.

九、修業年限 Academic Duration

學業年限、修課學分及授予學位：四年制學士班修業年限四年(8學期)，學生修業期滿，修滿系規定應修之科目學分數至少128學分及能力檢測，准予畢業，並授予管理學學士學位。持英制高中（中學五年）學歷或畢業年級相當於國內高級中等學校二年級之國外或香港、澳門級同類學校畢業生，將增加應修畢業學分12學分。

Academic Duration, Course Credits, and Degree Conferment: The Bachelor's program has a duration of four years (8 semesters), and upon completion of the program, students who have fulfilled the required course credits of at least 128, along with meeting the competency assessment, are eligible for graduation. Upon successful completion, students are conferred with a Bachelor of Management degree. Graduates with a British-style high school (five years of secondary education) background or the equivalent of the second year of domestic senior high school from foreign countries, Hong Kong, or Macau with a similar school system, are required to complete an additional 12 credits for graduation.

十、獎學金 Scholarship

1. 新入學之境外學生註冊後，給予入學第一學年獎助學金，每學期頒予商業類學系新臺幣17,000元整，工業類學系新幣18,000元整。

After registration, newly admitted international students will be awarded a first-year enrollment scholarship. Each semester, students in business-related departments will receive NT$17,000, and students in industrial-related departments will receive NT$18,000.

2. 在校之境外學生前一學期在校學業平均成績80分以上，且排名為班級前4%者，當學期商業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣35,000元整，工業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣37,000元整。

Overseas students who have achieved an average score of 80 or above in their academic performance in the previous semester and rank within the top 4% of their class are eligible for scholarships. For the current semester, students in business-related departments will receive NTD35,000, while students in industrial-related departments will receive NTD37,000.

3. 在校之境外學生前一學期在校學業平均成績75分以上，且排名為班級前10%者，當學期商業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣17,000元整，工業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣18,000元整。

Overseas students who have achieved an average score of 75 or above in their academic performance in the previous semester and rank within the top 10% of their class are eligible for scholarships. For the current semester, students in business-related departments will receive NTD17,000, while students in industrial-related departments will receive NTD18,000.

學業優良獎學金以大學部四年為限，且操行成績須達80分以上，本校將擇優發放，以領取一項為限。

The Academic Excellence Scholarship is limited to a maximum of four years for undergraduate students, and students must achieve a conduct grade of 80 or above. The scholarship will be awarded on a merit basis and is limited to receiving only one type of scholarship.

十一、注意事項 Please Note

(一)學歷成績單驗證、入境簽證須至台灣駐外館處或經僑務委員會指定之保薦單位辦理，並符合各該國駐外館處規定。
Applicants should go to Taiwan Overseas Missions for transcripts verification and visa application, and follow the regulations of the Taiwan Overseas Missions in their country.

(二)本校授課以中文為主，學生應具備基本之中文聽、說、讀、寫之能力；具相關中文能力檢定證明者，優先考慮。
Most of the courses are taught in Chinese. Applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading and writing ability in Chinese. Applicants are strongly recommended to submit the Chinese Language Proficiency test report.

(三)錄取生未能依規定時間註冊入學者，得申請保留入學資格；經學校核准者，始可於次學年度入學，其適用之相關規定與入學學年度新生相同。
Admitted students who are unable to enroll before the registration deadline can apply for a one-year deferral of admission with the permission of JUST. Upon permission of JUST, these students can postpone their studies to the next school year. The regulations for the new students of that school year are also applicable to students who postpone enrollment.

(四)錄取生經註冊入學後，其學籍及相關事項，依本校學則之規定辦理；另有關學分抵免依抵免學分辦法，於規定時程內提出申請。

Regarding transcripts, admitted students should follow the regulations of JUST. Credit transfer application should follow the JUST Credit Transfer Regulations and standard procedures after enrollment.

(五)學生每學期學費：科技管理學院(工科)及視覺傳達設計系約49,628元，其他院系約43,160元。在台生活費用所需每學期約36,000元，另加學校住宿費用每學年約23,000元。
The student needs to pay the following:
1. Tuition Fee : About NTD 49,628 for Engineering, Humanities and Design or NTD 43,160 for Others every academic year.
2. The cost of living in Taiwan is about NTD 36,000 every academic year.
3. The accommodation fee is NTD 23,000 for undergraduate students every year.

(六)已報名或錄取之學生，如經發現申請資格不符規定或所繳交之證件有變造、偽造、假借、冒用等不實情事者，未入學者即取消錄取資格；已入學者開除學籍，亦不發給任何學歷證明；如將來在本校畢業後始發現者，除勒令繳銷其學位證書外，並公告取消其畢業資格。
If any violations to the admission qualifications or false information in the submitted documents are found, applicants will be denied admission. If already admitted, the student will be asked to leave. If already graduated, the student will be asked to return his/her diploma.

(七) 申請住宿之一般境外生(含港澳僑外生)，前 20 名完成申請者可享有第一學年（兩學期）免住宿費之優惠（限 6 人雅房）。若欲選擇其他房型（4 人套房、4 人雅房或 2 人套房），則須自行負擔差額費用；另須繳交保證金新臺幣 2,000 元。申請時請先至住宿選床登記系統完成登記(系統開放時間將另行通知)，並於開學後依規定辦理退費事宜。
For general international students (including students from Hong Kong, Macau, overseas Chinese, and other foreign students) who apply for on-campus housing, the first 20 applicants to complete the application will be eligible for a dormitory fee waiver for the first academic year (two semesters), limited to six-person standard rooms.
Students who wish to choose other room types (four-person suite, four-person standard room, or two-person suite) must pay the price difference at their own expense. In addition, a security deposit of NT$2,000 is required.
Applicants must first complete registration through the Dormitory Bed Selection Registration System (the system opening period will be announced separately). Refund procedures shall be handled in accordance with university regulations after the semester begins.

(八)本簡章內容之中英文敘述如有不一致時，以中文版為準。
If discrepancies exist between the Chinese statement and the English statement, the Chinese statement applies.
