入學申請 Application Instructions

一、申請資格 Qualification

1. 具外國國籍【不含港澳及大陸地區人士】且未曾具有中華民國國籍，於申請時並不具僑生資格者。
   Those who have foreign nationality (excluding the citizens of Hong Kong, Macau, or the People's Republic of China), as well as those who have not previously studied in Taiwan as an overseas Chinese student when applying are eligible to apply as international students.
2. 擁有外國國籍及中華民國國籍，且符合下列規定，於申請時已連續居留海外六年以上者：
   International students refer to individuals whose nationality is not the Republic of China, individuals who have resided in another country for more than 6 years (Refer to Note 2-3), and individuals who meet the following conditions.

1.申請時兼具中華民國國籍，應自始未曾在臺設有戶籍。
Have dual nationality and have never applied for household registration in Taiwan.

2.申請前曾兼具中華民國國籍，於申請時已不具中華民國籍者，應自內政部許可喪失中華民國國籍之日起至申請時已滿八年。
Once held Republic of China citizenship, but who have renounced it for fewer than 8 years (as of the date school begins).

＊前2項未曾以僑生身分在臺就學，且未於當學年度接受海外聯合招生委員會分發。

Possess overseas Compatriot student status or had previously applied to colleges / universities with this status in Taiwan.

如違反規定並經查證屬實者，撤銷其所獲准入學資格或開除學籍。
Violation of any of the above criteria will result in immediate cancellation of the applicant's admission or the deprivation of the applicant's recognized status as an NUTN registered student.

1. 外國學生具高中畢業資格者，得申請入學本校學士學位班；具學士學位者，得申請入學碩士班；具碩士學位者，得申請入學博士班；或具同等學力資格者。
   International students with high school diplomas are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs at JUST；those with bachelor's degrees are eligible for Master programs. Applicants with equivalent qualifications to that of our academic degree system can apply for admission.

二、申請文件 Required Documents for Application

   Deposition form.
3. 國籍證明文件影本一份。
   Verification of nationality.
4. 經我國駐外館處驗證或僑務委員會指定之保薦單位驗證之外國學校最高學歷或同等學力證明文件及歷年成績單影本各一份（中、英文以外之語文，應附中文譯本），或由原修業學校密封逕寄本校。
   One copy of the applicant’s highest academic degree diploma or the proof of equivalent level and official transcript for all semesters, verified with official stamps by R.O.C, or the sponsors authenticated by Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C, embassies, consulates, or missions abroad or by other notary institutes authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R.O.C (hereinafter, “R.O.C. representative offices abroad”). Diplomas should be mailed to JUST directly from the issuing institution.
   (If the original diploma or transcript is not in Chinese or English, a notarized copy of a translation in Chinese is necessary).
5. 華語文能力測驗（TOCFL）2級（基礎級）以上能力證明。
      Certificate of the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language(TOCFL) of level A2 or above.
6. 推薦書一份（一份中國語文教師推薦信，或能敘明申請者中、英文能力之推薦信）
   Two letters of recommendation (one of which should be from a teacher of Chinese language, or one who can prove the applicant’s Chinese or English language proficiency).
7. 中文及英文留學計畫書 Study plan in Chinese and English. 
8. 財力證明 USD3,000元或 NTD90,000元以上或獲獎學金證明副本(不含印尼籍學生)

*註：依據外交部109年1月8日外授領二字第1085332256號函辦理，我駐印尼代表處及駐泗水辦事處要求申請來臺就學簽證者，財力證明標準(1、應有至少6個月之經常性財力5,000美金以上。財力來源可為家長或其他親屬。倘為其他親屬，則以所持戶籍謄本上所列，並能證明親屬關係者為原則；2、公費生或獎學金生應附可供採認之獎學金證明)

Financial Statement of Official Bank Statement with a minimum balance of USD3,000 or NTD90,000 per person or a copy of scholarship award notification (Excluding students of Indonesian nationality).

* Indonesian students - Bukti keuangan (1. Minimum transaksi selama 6 bulan terakhir dengan saldo rata-rata USD 5,000 atau lebih. Bukti keuangan bisa menggunakan milik orang tua atau kerabat lain. Akan tetapi, kerabat lain harus kerabat yang terdaftar dalam kk yang sama, dan dapat dibuktikan hubungannya. 2. Siswa penerima beasiswa wajib melampirkan bukti penerimaan beasiswa, dan beasiswa tersebut harus resmi.)

五、報到及註冊 Registration and Enrollment

錄取之新生，應依錄取通知單之規定辦理報到手續，並應繳驗以下證件：
All accepted students should register with the school by the designated time and follow the regulations in the admission letter and provide the following documents:

(二)畢業證書及成績單

Diploma and Transcripts

※取得入學許可後，於辦理報到時，須繳交台灣駐外館處或經僑務委員會指定之保薦單位驗證之畢業證書及成績單(認證章正本)各一份（驗畢退還），始得註冊入學。
Applicants who have received acceptance letters should submit copies of their diploma and transcripts (with official stamp/seal) verified by the Taiwan Overseas Missions in the country of their original school or the sponsors authenticated by Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C. After doing so, an applicant is ready for enrollment.

除學雜費外，額外收費明細如下：

In addition to tuition fee, other fees are as follows.

1.     學生平安保險費一學期約600元

Student safety insurance fee is about NTD 600 per semester.

2. 為維護國際學生健康，自入學註冊時均應參加六個月的傷病醫療保險約3,000元。領有有效居留證件之國際學生，於來臺連續居留滿6個月且期間只出境1次未逾30日，依法參加全民健保。（如有變動，須依相關規定辦理）。

All international students should purchase six months of injury medical insurance in about NTD 3,000 at the time of enrollment in the first semester. Those with a valid alien resident certificate (ARC) and stay in Taiwan for 6 months continuously or only leave Taiwan for less than 30 days within 6 months, can participate in the National Health Insurance (NHI) according to the law. Any change is subject to the applicable laws and regulations.

3. 除了學雜費及住宿費用外，生活費每個月約8,000元〜10,000元；書籍費依照所修習的課程而有不同。

In addition to tuition and accommodation fees, living expenses are about NTD 8,000-10,000 each month and book fees vary based on the courses taken.

4. 新生體檢費約600，為基本檢查費，若需其他檢查項目，則依受檢醫院規定辦理。

Freshman Physical Examination Fee about NTD 600, the fee is only for the basic physical examination. To check other items, extra fees will be charged by the hospital.

5. 健康保險費約4,956，為一個學期6個月計算，依實際支付金額為準。

Health Insurance Fees about NTD 4,956, calculated for one semester (6 months), the actual payment amount may vary.

七、評分方式及錄取原則 Scores Calculation

八、退費標準與辦理時程 Tuition Fee Refund Policy

(一)依學生休、退學時間而訂有學雜費退費比例，如下：

(二)註冊日（包括當日）前申請者：免繳費。已收費者，全額退費。

Applicants who apply on or before the registration day (including the registration day) are exempt from tuition fee payment. Whereas if fees have already been collected, a full amount of the fee collected will be refunded.

(三)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後而未逾學期三分之一申請者：學費、雜費退還三分之二。

Applicants who apply after the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester) but before one-third of the semester has elapsed: Two-thirds of the tuition and miscellaneous fees will be refunded.

(四)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後逾學期三分之一，而未逾學期三分之二申請者：學費、雜費退還三分之一。

Applicants who apply between the period of one-third of the semester and two-thirds of the semester since the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester): One-third of the tuition and miscellaneous fees will be refunded.

(五)於上課（開學）日（包括當日）之後逾學期三分之二申請者：所繳學費、雜費，不予退還。

Applicants who apply after two-thirds of the semester has passed since the commencement of classes (the first day of the semester): Tuition and miscellaneous fees paid will not be refunded.

九、獎學金 Scholarship

1. 在校之境外學生前一學期在校學業平均成績80分以上，且排名為班級前4%者，當學期商業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣35,000元整，工業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣37,000元整。

Overseas students who have achieved an average score of 80 or above in their academic performance in the previous semester and rank within the top 4% of their class are eligible for scholarships. For the current semester, students in business-related departments will receive NTD35,000, while students in industrial-related departments will receive NTD37,000.

2. 在校之境外學生前一學期在校學業平均成績75分以上，且排名為班級前10%者，當學期商業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣17,000元整，工業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣18,000元整。

Overseas students who have achieved an average score of 75 or above in their academic performance in the previous semester and rank within the top 10% of their class are eligible for scholarships. For the current semester, students in business-related departments will receive NTD17,000, while students in industrial-related departments will receive NTD18,000.

學業優良獎學金以大學部四年為限，且操行成績須達80分以上，本校將擇優發放，以領取一項為限。

The Academic Excellence Scholarship is limited to a maximum of four years for undergraduate students, and students must achieve a conduct grade of 80 or above. The scholarship will be awarded on a merit basis and is limited to receiving only one type of scholarship.

十、注意事項 Please Note

(一)學歷成績單驗證、入境簽證須至台灣駐外館處或經僑務委員會指定之保薦單位辦理，並符合各該國駐外館處規定。
Applicants should go to Taiwan Overseas Missions for transcripts verification and visa application, and follow the regulations of the Taiwan Overseas Missions in their country.

(二)本校授課以中文為主，學生應具備基本之中文聽、說、讀、寫之能力；具相關中文能力檢定證明者，優先考慮。
Most of the courses are taught in Chinese. Applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading and writing ability in Chinese. Applicants are strongly recommended to submit the Chinese Language Proficiency test report.

(三)錄取生未能依規定時間註冊入學者，得申請保留入學資格；經學校核准者，始可於次學年度入學，其適用之相關規定與入學學年度新生相同。
Admitted students who are unable to enroll before the registration deadline can apply for a one-year deferral of admission with the permission of JUST. Upon permission of JUST, these students can postpone their studies to the next school year. The regulations for the new students of that school year are also applicable to students who postpone enrollment.

(四)錄取生經註冊入學後，其學籍及相關事項，依本校學則之規定辦理；另有關學分抵免依抵免學分辦法，於規定時程內提出申請。
Regarding transcripts, admitted students should follow the regulations of JUST. Credit transfer application should follow the JUST Credit Transfer Regulations and standard procedures after enrollment.

(五)學生每學期學費：科技管理學院(工科)及視覺傳達設計系約49,628元，其他院系約43,160元。在台生活費用所需每學期約36,000元，另加學校住宿費用每學年約23,000元。
The student needs to pay the following:
1. Tuition Fee : About NTD 49,628 for Engineering, Humanities and Design or NTD 43,160 for Others every academic year.
2. The cost of living in Taiwan is about NTD 36,000 every academic year.
3. The accommodation fee is NTD 23,000 for undergraduate students every year.

(六)已報名或錄取之學生，如經發現申請資格不符規定或所繳交之證件有變造、偽造、假借、冒用等不實情事者，未入學者即取消錄取資格；已入學者開除學籍，亦不發給任何學歷證明；如將來在本校畢業後始發現者，除勒令繳銷其學位證書外，並公告取消其畢業資格。
If any violations to the admission qualifications or false information in the submitted documents are found, applicants will be denied admission. If already admitted, the student will be asked to leave. If already graduated, the student will be asked to return his/her diploma.

 (七)本簡章內容之中英文敘述如有不一致時，以中文版為準。
If discrepancies exist between the Chinese statement and the English statement, the Chinese statement applies.

本要點經行政會議通過，校長核定後公布施行。

景文科技大學外國學生入學前須知事項

Notice for International Students of Jinwen University of Science and Technology

1. 課程修習學分：外國學生四年應修畢128學分，畢業年級相當於國內高級中等學校二年級之國外或香港、澳門地區同級同類學校畢業生，得以同等學力報考大學學士班一年級新生入學考試，但至少應增修12個畢業應修學分，始得畢業。學生學習異常情形達本校學則所訂休退學標準，則依規定辦理。

Credits to take: Students need to take 128 credits before graduation.  Those having graduated from a foreign high school or junior college in a period of time less than that required by Taiwan counterpart may take the entrance examination in the undergraduate program with their equivalent qualifications equivalent to the Taiwan academic system. However, the school requires 12 or more additional credits to gain the degree.  Students who fail to meet the studying requirements of JUST will be expelled according to related rules and regulations.

1. 工讀：外國學生打工應申請工作許可證，工作時間除寒暑假外，每星期最長為20小時。(就業服務法第43條及第50條)。未經許可在臺工作，應處新臺幣3萬元以上15萬元以下罰鍰，並即令其出國，不得再於我國境內工作；屆期不出國者，入出國管理機關得強制出國，於未出國前，入出國管理機關得收容之。(就業服務法第68條第1項、第3項及第4項規定)

Work: An international student must apply for a work permit to work in Taiwan. An international student is not permitted to work more than 20 hours per week, except during the winter and summer vacations. (See Article 43 and Article 50 of the Employment Service Act.) A student who works without a valid work permit will be fined an amount between NTD 30,000 and NTD 150,000, and the person will immediately be ordered to leave Taiwan and will not be permitted to work in Taiwan in future. If the person then fails to leave Taiwan within the specified period, the national entry and exit administrative authority may enforce their departure and may hold the person in detention until they depart. (See Paragraphs 1, 3 and 4 of Article 68 of the Employment Service Act.)

1. 為吸引優秀境外學生(不含陸生）到本校就學，並減輕其在校就學期間生活壓力，訂定「景文科技大學境外學生新生入學暨學業優良獎助學金實施要點」。

In order to attract outstanding overseas students to attend school and provide for "Implementation Guidelines for New International Students and Academic Excellence Scholarships for Overseas Students at Jinwen University of Science and Technology"

新入學之境外學生：

Newly enrolled international students:

符合下列任一條件註冊入學學生給予入學第一學年獎學金，每學期頒予商業類學系新台幣17,000元整，工業類學系新台幣18,000元整。

Students who meet any of the following criteria upon registration are eligible for a scholarship in their first year of enrollment. A scholarship of NTD17,000 per semester is awarded to students in business-related departments, and NTD18,000 per semester is awarded to students in industrial-related departments.

1. 與本校簽訂學校合作協議書之境外學校或機構，推薦學生申請入學本校並附有校長或機構升學輔導主管推薦函者。

Students who are recommended by schools and institutes that have signed a MOU with this university.

2. 經海外聯合招生委員會以個人申請入學本校，將本校列為第一志願，並附有校長推薦函者。。

Students who apply to this university through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students and put this university on the first of his/her list.

已入學之境外學生學業優良獎學金(不含陸生及新南向產學合作國際專班學生) Year 2 Students：

1.          在校之境外學生前一學期在校學業平均成續80分以上，且排名為班級前4%者，當學期商業類學系每名每學期頒予獎學金新台幣35,000元整，工業類學系每名頒予獎學金新台幣37,000元整。

Students who have already applied for leave of absence (LOA) or withdrawal are not eligible to receive the scholarship, and vacancies will not be filled. If a student who has already received the scholarship applies for LOA or withdrawal, the entire amount received must be returned to the school.

1. 學生離校須知：
   Student Departure Guidelines
   依據外國學生來臺就學辦法第24條、入出國及移民法第31條及36條規定，外國學生休學、退學或畢業，學校應即通報外交部領事事務局及學校所在地之內政部移民署服務站，移民署將註銷外僑居留證，學生應於10日內出境。
   According to Article 24 of the “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan” and Articles 31 and 36 of the “Immigration Act,” when an international student takes a leave of absence, withdraws, or graduates, the University must immediately notify the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local service center of the National Immigration Agency. The National Immigration Agency will cancel the Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and the student must leave Taiwan within 10 days.
2. 履行個人資料保護法告知義務：

景文科技大學（以下簡稱本校）依據個人資料保護法（以下簡稱個資法）第八條第一項規定，向　台端告知下列事項，請　台端詳閱並同意本校於下列事項一～三範圍內，得蒐集、處理及利用　台端資料：

Jinwen University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "JUST") hereby informs you, in accordance with Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), of the following matters. Please read them carefully and agree to the University's collection, processing, and use of your data within the scope of the following items 1 to 3:

109教育或訓練行政、134試務、銓敘、保訓行政、135資(通)訊服務、157調查、統計與研究分析、158學生(員)(含畢、結業生)資料管理。

2、 蒐集之個人資料類別Categories of Personal Data Collected：

(1)識別類：C001辨識個人者、C003政府資料中之辨識者。

(2)家庭情形：C023家庭其他成員之細節。
Family Status: C023 Details of other family members

(3)社會情況：C033移民情形、C038職業。
Social Status: C033 Immigration status, C038 Occupation

(4)教育、考選、技術或其他專業：C051學校紀錄、C052資格或技術、C057學生、應考人紀錄。
Education, Examination, Skills, or Other Professional Qualifications: C051 School records, C052 Qualifications or skills, C057 Student or examinee records

(5)受僱情形：C061現行之受僱情形、C064工作經驗。

3、 個人資料利用之期間、地區、對象及方式Period, Area, Parties, and Methods of Using Personal Data：

(1)期間：個人資料蒐集之特定目的存續期間或依相關法令規定或契約約定之保存年限或本校因執行業務所必須之保存期間。
Period: The duration of the specific purpose for which the personal data was collected, or the retention period as required by relevant laws, regulations, contractual agreements, or as necessary for the University to perform its duties.

4、 依據個資法第三條規定，台端就本校保有　台端之個人資料得行使下列權利：
According to Article 3 of the Act, you have the following rights regarding the personal data held by the University:

(1)得向本校查詢、請求閱覽或請求製給複製本，而本校依法得酌收必要成本費用。
You may inquire, request to view, or request a copy of your personal data from the University. The University may charge necessary costs and fees as per the law.

(2)得向本校請求補充或更正，惟依法台端應為適當之釋明。
You may request the University to supplement or correct your personal data, but you are required by law to provide appropriate explanations.

(3)得向本校請求停止蒐集、處理或利用及請求刪除，惟依法本校因執行業務所必須者，得不依台端請求為之。
You may request the University to stop collecting, processing, or using your personal data, and to delete it, except where the University's execution of its duties requires otherwise, in accordance with the law.

5、 個人權利Personal Rights：

您有權於合於個人資料保護法規相關規定之情形下，就您的個人資料做查詢或更新。若您提供的個資不夠完整或不正確，致影響教務及行政工作推展或自身權益受損時，概由個人負責。
You have the right to inquire about or update your personal data under the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act. If the personal data you provide is incomplete or incorrect, resulting in an impact on academic and administrative work or causing harm to your own interests, you will be solely responsible.
